“The worth of a book is to be measured by what you can carry away from it.” ~James Bryce

In my opinion, there is no greater financial venture in life than having your own business. Ask me and I’ll tell you, the best businesses for any individual are those that implement systems, are highly leveraged and you can work from home. Why from home? Because there is no brick and mortar structure to care for and the convenience factor…the commute is very short.

What I mean in being highly leveraged and the implementation of systems respectively, you are being rewarded financially (handsomely I might add) for the work of others and the system does the work for you allowing you to be absent from the whole process…(wow, that is sweet).

Sounds like the perfect business doesn’t it?

Network marketing, also known as MLM or Multi-Level Marketing, is one of the most popular business opportunities today. It’s no surprise considering the fortunes available to you in a business model that is highly leveraged.

I have always advocated the power of network marketing especially now with the advent of the Internet. I can use network marketing (a highly leveraged business model) and the Internet (with systems) to build my organization to grow beyond my wildest expectations.

By joining a network marketing company, you are compensated as a promoter for the sale of the company’s products and services as well as for the sales of other promoters you introduce to the company, creating a downline of distributors and a certain hierarchy. These products and services could range from vitamins to fruit juices to education.

When I join a network marketing company, it can’t be just anything. It has to be a quality product that just makes good sense to me and managed with integrity. For example, I have been promoting a company by the name of Global Virtual Opportunities or GVO for short. This company provides the tools that Internet network marketers are going to need anyway to do business. You see, that just makes good sense to me.

Before you become a network marketer, though, it is best to be well-prepared by doing some research, first. This industry is not for the faint of heart.

Even though it will test you beyond your wildest expectations, the sky is the limit for your financial gain. There really is no cap on your earnings. All you need is simply to sponsor at least four leaders in your organization and watch the momentum build.

Before you join any organization….

My recommendation is to first get a well-rounded baseline perspective on the industry. This will prepare you for the bumps you will inevitably experience in the beginning stages of your growth.

Keep in mind, even though these are books that all network marketers should read, do not feel you have to read all of them before you join a network marketing company. Simply read them as you grow:

1. Your First Year in Network Marketing: Overcome Your Fears, Experience Success, and Achieve Your Dreams! by Mark Yarnell & Rene Reid Yarnell

Everyone at some point in their lives dreams of being financially independent. Regardless of their employment situation or lack thereof, thoughts of being able to call their own shots are something that is desired.

The lure of being able to call our own shots is something that can’t be ignored but do most people understand the importance of laying down the proper foundation to dissolve the status quo?

First, let’s examine the term “financial independence”. What does it mean to be financially independent?

Financial independence is, through your own endeavors, you possess the capability to support yourself. Once financial independence is realized, you are able to stand on your own and have a more stable and secured life for yourself and your family.

To reach the point where you have that stable and secured life, you have to have the right mindset. This is not something that will just fall in your lap. Your due diligence is required along with positive actions that have proven to work over time.

Following are the top five power traits that you can start utilizing today to help you get on track to the road to financial freedom and independence.

Power Trait 1- Health is Wealth (Take care of yourself): This may not sound to you like something that will help you financially but actually it is connected to your financial well-being more than you think. If you do not take care of yourself today it will be more difficult for you down the road to be able to achieve your dreams.

Good health will be an asset to you to obtaining financial independence. By having regular check ups with your physician, having a healthy diet and exercising regularly you will be giving yourself an advantage. Being of good health psychologically and physically will allow you to enjoy the fruits of your efforts today.

Power Trait 2 – Focus Your Vision: Having a vision to where you want to go in life or what you want to achieve is paramount to your eventual success. You want financial independence? You want to be your own boss? You want a more stable and secure life for yourself and family? You want to establish a sound financial base that you can pass on to your children to carry on the legacy?

Ultimately, you must keep that vision in mind. As you progress toward your goal of financial independence, it will beneficial to you to enlist your five senses thus enhancing your vision.. Try to feel that vision, hear that vision, smell that vision, see that vision and even taste that vision.

Also remember, if the road gets a little rough along the way, return to your vision for reinforcement and don’t let go.

Power Trait 3 – Wisely Invest Your Money: The basic income to help you toward your goal of financial freedom will come from your current job(s). It is important to generate income, but don’t settle for this source of income.

Your target is to increase your income from what you are presently making. Look to invest your money into a beneficial enterprise. For example, you can invest your money into or start a business that you are absolutely passionate about. Learn everything there is about this business. Be prepared to go the extra mile in doing so.

You must also develop a mindset to shoot for excellence and integrity. Do not just settle for mediocrity. This mental attitude will propel you toward your goal of financial independence.

Power Trait 4 – Save Your Money: A great way to start establishing a firm financial foundation for your future is to develop a strong “money miser” mentality. Put some money aside each month. Of your present income, allot a certain percentage to your savings on a regular basis.

Establish a healthy financial habit by doing this for each time you get paid. A good way to remember this is to pay yourself first. This will help you avoid the trap of impulse buying as well as teach you how to budget your money for necessary expenses.

Consider keeping your money in a bank savings account. The interest earned on the money in the savings account is not as generous as other types of investments but a little interest is better than no interest. Avoid the urge of withdrawing that money unless it is absolutely necessary.

Power Trait 5 – Spend Your Money Wisely: Don’t spend your money on every little thing that you think you need. Purchase things that you really need. In order to do that, just before you make that purchase you must step back, take a deep breath and ask yourself, “Do I really need that?”. Only you can answer this question but you must stay true to yourself and your vision of financial independence. The end justifies the means in this case.

In this world today, we are tempted to keep up with everyone else in accumulating material things. Forget the need to show off to others what you can afford. Remember, your goal is to gain financial independence, not to compete with others. The best way to achieve your goal is to hold on to your money as much as possible.

If you incur debts by overuse of credit cards, you will surely find yourself in a cycle of debt that will be hard to climb out of. Try to make ends meet for now because later on in your financially independent life, you will be in a better position to be more leisurely with your money.

If you liked what I shared with you today, I’d be happy to hear what you think in the comments below and be sure you share on Twitter or Facebook. Your followers and friends will appreciate you.

Bal-ance – to render equal in proportion; even distribution of weight or amount.

I am a huge proponent of balance, especially in the intangible activities of life. I’m not exactly sure if my preference is due to how I was raised or if it is deeply embedded in the bowels of my genetic make up. Whatever the impetus, I always strive to achieve balance.

Balance in life for me for the most part encompasses work, rest and play (although I have been sacrificing the latter two lately). But I also strive to achieve an aesthetic balance in the tangible. I want elements of the tangible to be tastefully pleasing to the eye. For example, I simply can’t tolerate a room that is disheveled or has no flow. What I mean is if the furniture is illogically placed or if things are scattered about, to me that room is out of balance.

Also, as I write this post, I want the end result to be…you guessed it, balanced. I want what I share with you to be pleasing to the eye.

One of the main areas that probably 85% of the working population face is finding the right balance between work and personal life. The lines between the two are not always that distinct. According to personal coach and author of the very popular Now What?: 90 Days to a New Life Direction Laura Berman Fortgang, getting your priorities clear is essential. It is the most important step toward achieving a well-balanced life. What is key is to figure out what you want your priorities to be and not what you think they should be.

If you have been struggling to find balance between work and life try simplifying things a bit. There is an innate tendency for us to take upon much more than we are reasonably capable of doing.

Here are the key principles that can provide a good place for you to start because without finding the right balance between work and your personal life, you could end up failing in both areas:

Set Physical Boundaries – Train yourself to shed off problems at work the moment you leave your office. Use the time you spend traveling home to get rid of residual stress. By the time you enter your home, you should have all your work problems shelved inside a drawer that you can only pull open when you go back to the office.

Balance is doing the same things about problems at home. Problems are better solved when you ponder them in appropriate settings. You should let your family and friends know that you find it easier to function if they’d wait for you to come home before telling you about any areas of concern. Of course, emergencies are an exception.

Manage Your Time Effectively – Time is the most precious commodity of all because it’s something you simply can’t buy. When yesterday gives way to tomorrow, you can never get it back. Therefore you must make full use of every moment of your time.

Balance is avoiding wasted time whether you are at work or at home. Similarly, avoid doing either excessively. You’ll be much happier if you’re able to satisfy your needs in both aspects of your life. Plans must be made early. Spontaneity is good once in a while, but if you allow your impulses to rule your life entirely, things can become complicated. Remember….equal proportions.

Enjoy Your Achievement – If you’ve achieved something at work, take the time to savor the pleasure of completing the task. After all, there’s no point in working hard for something when you don’t take the time to enjoy it’s rewards. Do the very same thing at home. If there’s something to be happy about, don’t let it pass you by, celebrate. For instance, go out with your loved ones or reward yourself with a little treat like letting go of your strict diet regime for one day or take full advantage of a shopping spree.

Balance isn’t just something you can achieve by having a detailed schedule in your organizer. Balance is also a mental and emotional state: you need to make a conscious effort of alleviating your stress, relaxing yourself, and allowing yourself be happy whenever a milestone has been reached at work or being happy simply for the sake of being with your loved ones.

Know When To Quit – Giving up is not always a sin. If you’ve truly given your best, pushing yourself further could do you more harm than good. This can happen at work or at home. Don’t work too hard. Don’t play too hard. There are people who have a difficult time quitting and if you’re one of them then you must make a concerted effort to find balance before you pay a dear price emotionally or physically.

Balance is also about knowing your limits. You can test them once in a while, but make sure you don’t go completely overboard.

Get A Life Coach – Last but not the least, if you have tried everything and nothing has helped in your efforts to achieve work/life balance then maybe it’s time to employ the services of a life coach. A life coach is not necessarily a psychiatrist. This person is qualified to help you analyze your goals for life and attain them. If it’s balance you want then a life coach will certainly be more than happy to help you find it.

To learn more about getting a life coach I recommend: The Coach Connection.

It is a great place to learn more about life coaching benefits. Also, make sure you take advantage of their free consultation.

“There is no substitute for knowledge. To this day, I read three newspapers a day. It is impossible to read a paper without being exposed to ideas. And ideas.. more than money.. are the real currency for success.” Eli Broad

I consider myself to be somewhat successful. Even though I have been knocked down (figuratively) a few times in the business, I have never failed to pick myself up and brush myself off.

The total beauty of it all is the experience. Not just any experience but my knowledge gained through the experiences over the years. If it wasn’t for the learning experiences, I would not be able to be in the position I am today. I am better for it and I can share my knowledge with those who seek.

Knowledge is truly powerful when you are growing an online business. Without it, I could never have created “The Beginner’s Guide To Empire Building” or the The Net Million System. You simply must not underestimate how potent it can be. Frankly, it has changed my life

I’m not going to sell you on it. But for those who are partial to this industry and want to make an honest buck online here is the abridged guide to my actionable knowledge to changing your own life:

Don’t do sales – Do marketing
Don’t do cold calls – Let people call you
Don’t sell – Show
Don’t enroll people – Sponsor them
Don’t wish you were online – Get a website
Don’t hope for traffic and visitors – Advertise
Don’t email – Get an autoresponder
Don’t spam – Get 100% optins
Don’t join deals – Join businesses
Don’t do it tomorrow – Do it today
Don’t spend money – Invest it in education
Don’t waste money – Make it
Don’t get rich quick – Build cash flow and wealth
Don’t wish it was easier – Make yourself better
Don’t want it to work – Make it work
Don’t hope for success – Create success
Don’t wait for a leader – Become the leader
Don’t follow – Lead
Don’t tell people what to do – Show and mentor them
Don’t watch others – Take action
Don’t chase friends – Show them what you do
Don’t chase prospects – Show them what you do
Don’t chase leaders – Show them what you do
Don’t chase anyone – Show them what you do
Don’t quit – Work harder
Don’t quit – Learn more skills
Don’t quit – Take more action
Don’t quit – Try again

Focus on and understand this last one especially because when you do, you will be well on your way:

When you don’t quit – You succeed.

I have lived by the above list for a while now and it has changed my life. If you want to be more like me, I would be more than happy to help and mentor you to super success in a home based business.

Also if you liked this guide, please share on Twitter, your followers will appreciate you and so will I, even more than I already do.

Much love,

“Should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks” W.Buffet

Ever since I made the commitment to build my online business empire, I have been plagued by my inability to prioritize and master productivity. Don’t get me wrong, I used to be productive (at times) but it came in fits and starts. I was never in a state of “staying productive” ( This gave me a “guilt trip” like you would not believe).

The actions necessary in the process of solidifying your online business can’t be ignored. Your responsibility is to bring more and more people into your organization on a continual basis at all times…period. People are the lifeblood of your business and you seriously must take ownership of this philosophy.

How do you do this? Marketing, marketing and more marketing productively.

Now I must admit, I am better at staying productive than when I first started. What has made a HUGE difference for me is to get my act togethe, prioritize and to adopt a plan. A plan of marketing action and the hard-core discipline to stick with it.

But wait a minute….

We are only human right? What I am understanding now is that it is impossible to stay productive all the time. The human being although complex, was just not wired that way. We were designed to work, rest and play. Before, I found myself scrambling (when I thought I was being productive) trying to do everything at once, not realizing at the time that I was undertaking tasks that just did not matter.

What came to fruition was the pragmatic understanding of what I call the “time flow” and that is time keeps on moving…it never stops. The epiphany I had was the only control I have is how I spend that time. What I realized was most advantageous was to spend time on what matters most. Upon having this epiphany, I am feeling much better about my productivity through prioritizing, but the key here is to spend time on what matters most.

How To Get Productive – Spend your time on what matters most

Although there is no exact science to prioritizing, here are a few simple hints that can help you understand how to prioritize and become more productive.

Make A List – We all know the real importance of making a list for productivity. Making a list of things that you must do can actually help provide you with a visual aid to help determine which tasks you should do first, and which ones you can do for later. When making a list, make sure that you list down all the important and crucial tasks that you need to accomplish and prioritize, as these are the ones that you must successfully accomplish. You actually don’t need to list down routine and menial tasks as these are things that you can do without on your list since you don’t necessarily need to be reminded to do them.

Consider The Constraints – Every task that you need to do involves its shares of constraints, so you need to consider all the things can actually impede the progress of your tasks. Figure out what limitations are present on every task that you need to accomplish, and factor those in on your decision.

The rule of thumb on this aspect is that you must always prioritize the ones that need to be done as soon as possible. Although all of your prioritized tasks are important, there are some things that are important to be accomplished now, which is why you should prioritize them over those that are important to be accomplished tomorrow or some other later time.

Also, you need to prioritize the tasks that other people might be waiting on in order for them to be able to accomplish their work. Don’t allow yourself to be the main cause for a work not to get finished simply because you were late in accomplishing your part of the job, thereby causing some delays on the work of others.

Be Flexible – Although having a list can help put your tasks in order, there are times that you may need to change your list of tasks and reprioritize your tasks, usually depending on the factors and changes that might have occurred. Just be prepared for some unexpected events and learn how to be flexible, as there is a very big chance that you might encounter some problems that will change your list of priorities.

Think Of The Consequences – The things that you decide to do can have an adverse or positive effect on your disposition, so make sure that you think about the consequences of your actions just to help you prioritize them even better. Keep in mind that choosing a task that will have an effect on your personal and professional life and career, like a job promotion, might be the better choice over a task that will only affect your personal life, such as choosing a tattoo design.

By simply following these tips, you should be able to prioritize your tasks better, and hopefully turn you into a more productive person in the process.

If you would like to learn more about getting the right things done and spending time on what matters most, I recommend: Organizing for Success, 2nd Edition by Kenneth Zeigler. He will show you how to work less but do more….(who would not be interested in that?).

Have you ever been in a bad mood but you just didn’t know why? A bad mood can drastically affect your day in a negative way as well as the day of those around you. Studies show there is actually a reason that is fueling your bad or angry mood.

Believe it or not, it is associated with your goals. To be more specific, it is your non-conscious goals. They can change your mood and your performance.

Tanya Chartrand, assistant psychology professor at the Ohio State University researched extensively the impetus behind bad moods. ”If you succeed at a goal you didn’t know you had, you’re in a good mood and you don’t know why,” she states. ”But if you fail at a non-conscious goal , you’re put into this negative mystery mood.”

In reality, we all have non-conscious goals, whether at home, work, with friends and in the community. Let’s use dining in a restaurant for example. You may have designs on eating healthier, maybe pass on the steak and eat a salad instead, or replace the french fries with vegetables. If you end up with steak and fries on your plate and a dessert, you could end up feeling bad (figuratively speaking of course). Later you may attribute your bad mood to going out to eat.

Your conscious goals become non-conscious over time and are triggered every time you go to a restaurant. When you fail at your goal, you will fall into a bad mood.

“We are succeeding and failing at non-conscious goals all the time,” says Chartrand. ”Research is beginning to show how this affects our moods, the way we perform and the judgments we make about others. It’s incredibly important.” If you fail at your non-conscious goals, your performance could deteriorate and when building an online business empire, your bottom line is in direct association with your performance.

Six Simple Actions You Can Do Today To Improve Your Bad Mood

Fortunately, there are ways that you can actually turn your frown upside down. Here are six action principles that you can do to bust your bad mood and have a more optimistic and more positive mood.

Treat Yourself – One definite way that you can chase away your bad mood is to simply treat yourself every once in a while. There is nothing more gratifying than indulging yourself with some much needed treats. Get a makeover from your favorite salon, or buy an ice cream treat that you were craving for all week, just as long as it is something that you want for yourself. In this way, you personally would be able to remind yourself that you deserve to be pampered every once in a while, and hopefully, this would put you in a much better mood.

Hang Out With Your Friends – Don’t underestimate the power of your friends to get you out of a bad mood. Whenever you feel a bad mood stirring about, try to get your friends to get you back in a better mood. They are usually able to turn things around in a jiffy. Keep in mind that your good friends know you pretty well, so they should have an idea on how to perk you back up with little trouble.

Laugh It Out – Although laughing out loud alone might seem like weird thing to do, letting out a good laugh every time you feel like you are in such a bad mood can actually help improve your disposition into a friendlier one, even if it is a fake one. No one can let out a good laugh and continue to be in a bad mood.

Meditate And Relax – Going into some form of meditation can help put you in a more relaxed state, and thereby relieving yourself of any tension that you might be experiencing. You can do this by simply giving yourself some time to mellow down and relax, such as counting from 1 to 10 whenever your mood isn’t as good, or by allowing some “personal” time for yourself during your day. Take these opportunities to meditate and relax.

Vent It Out – Keeping your emotions bottled up inside isn’t a good idea, as this will only make you even more cranky later on. Make sure that you find a good friend who will give the time to listen to you regarding what it is that’s putting you in such a bad mood. Venting out your anger through a friend allows you to not only help put you in a much better mood, but it will also help you avoid hurting other people in the process.

Distract Yourself – One way that you can actually use to help put you in a much better mood is to simply forget about your problem by doing some activities that will help get your mind off it. Go out for a nice walk, or read a book. There are a lot of things that you can do, just find something that you love doing and you will forget your troubles in no time.

Ultimately, be cognizant of your mystery bad moods. They could bring forth awareness of some beneficial non-conscious goals. Just knowing that much could help resolve your bad or angry mood and help you understand your personality better.

Just remember that being in a bad mood not only affects you, but everyone else around you as well, so make sure that you take charge of your happiness, and change your mood from bad to good.

You just looked at your downline numbers and realized there is not much happening. Other than the inititial influx of new people your organization growth is non-existent. Really, nobody is joining your business. The wheels have fallen off.

You’ve done everything the so-called “gurus” have told you but your team remains small and stagnant. You know as an upline sponsor, you need to be an effective leader. One that remains steady, confident to steer the organization toward greener pastures.

There are many things you can do to stay the course. Every network marketer knows that in order for growth to happen, leadership plays a HUGE part. But in order for your leadership to blossom, you must be cognizant of the fact that you don’t know everything…at least not yet.

Today I’m going to share with you the deeper understanding of what it means to be a great leader. First you must understand the deeper psychology of where it all starts then what you to manifest the mindset that YOU MUST BE TEACHABLE.

What Is Leadership And Understanding What Is Really Important To You

Ultimately, leadership starts with your inner voice. Ask yourself:

- What is really important to me?
- How do I want my life to unfold?
- How do I want my life to be lived?
- What gives me enthusiasm? excitement?
- What gives me purpose, passion and meaning…..
to my existence on this earth?

Once you have pinpointed that which is important to you, with your core values as your guide, lead from that place. Start with that mindset.

Value is created by leadership as it is a genuine influence. Inherently, we are all called to lead by pragmatically associating our own life experiences, values and gifts to the unique circumstances we face. Opening the heart is key. Leading effectively requires an understanding that techniques and methods take back seat to the heart and human experiences. Processes basically have no role.

Leadership is a human activity originating from the heart with regards for the hearts of others. Leadership is not a program or formula. Leadership has nothing to do with routine but everything to do with attitude.

On the contrary, the most unique component to leadership is to know when leadership must end. As contradictory as it sounds, the most positive results happen not from what you make happen but rather what you let happen. You must discern when to let go.

Perhaps Abraham Lincoln said it best: “You cannot build character and courage by taking away a man’s independence and initiative.”

5 Practical Approaches Most Overlook To Become The Best Leader You Can Be

There is a saying that “to be a good leader, you must be a good follower. This saying actually makes a lot of sense in the context that a leader must first learn before he can lead. This basically implies that you must first start learning everything you need to learn before you can expect yourself to be good at something.

The same goes for business leaders who want to become effective in what they do. If they want to be productive, they must continually feed their minds and learn the game that they are playing.

1. Accept That You Don’t Know – (don’t be a “know-it-all”)

Although you might be very good at what you do, you still do not know everything. There are still some things that you are not aware of, things that could actually play a role in the success or failure of your business.

The first thing that you need to do in order to become an effective business leader is to accept the fact that you don not know everything. You could be incompetent on some aspects of your business but if you refuse to admit that then you may not take the time to acquire that knowledge. Accept that there are some things you are not privy to yet.

2. Remove Your Pride – (remove that large chip off your shoulders)

It would be difficult for a person to learn something if his pride is in the way. People seldom allow others to teach them if the chip on their shoulders is way too big.

3. Be Open To Change – (a receptive mind is a powerful thing)

One of the main things that make it difficult for most business leaders to feed their mind is their inability to accept change, especially those that go against what they believe in or what they know. This is actually a scary prospect if your business depends on it. If you want to be able to weigh all your options and find the best decision possible you need to learn to be more open to change.

4. Become The Follower – (fall in line)

A business leader is very well-equipped to lead others but he may find it difficult to be led. If you want to become teachable so you can learn more about what you don’t know, then you must learn how to follow instead of leading.

5. Listen To Others – (can’t see the forest for the trees)

One thing that you can be sure of is that not all great ideas can come from you and you alone. Sometimes taking the time to listen to other people can actually provide you with a much broader and better perspective about your business and could potentially help you find the answer that you are looking for but are unable to figure out on your own . Keep in mind that you might be too involved in you business to make the right decisions sometimes.

OK, I’ll admit, I am guilty as charged for not using my time wisely….or at least before I realized it’s value.

It took the true essence of the understanding that the level of my success online was dependent on how I used time to allow certain tasks to manifest the reality I desired.

Many people, including me, can spend their days in a frenzy of doing the wrong activity toward building their online business thus achieving very little. Quite simply, this is because the needed concentration is not focused on doing the things that matter the most.

This is clear evidence of the Pareto Principle or the 80:20 Rule.

This rule states that typically 80% of unfocused effort generates only 20% of your results. This means the remaining 80% of your results are achieved with only 20% of the effort.

By understanding the importance of the relationship you have with your time, you can optimize your efforts to ensure your concentration of your energy is not wasted.

If you want to succeed as an online entrepreneur, it is paramount you learn how to properly manage your time. It’s just that important especially if you want to get somewhere with your online business empire.

Remember to keep this mindset: you will NEVER retrieve the time you have spent foolishly it’s just that simple. That wasted time is gone forever.

Time management though is not a subject our formal education system teaches. Time management is a life experiences learned skill.

Today, I have outlined a couple of simple steps that you can do to be able to effectively manage your time.

Work At Your Best

Every person works best during a particular time in the day. Some people are more active in their work if it is during the day, while others are night owls and are more productive during the night.

Determine when you are most productive in your work and try to schedule your work during that time. I recommend saving your most important work during this particular period of time. This will ensure a better output from your efforts.

Organize Yourself

Managing your time requires you to organize your work in a way that you can determine your priorities and when you actually do them.

Remember, you won’t be able to be as productive as possible if you don’t know what work you are supposed to finish first. Just make a list of your workload just to keep you on track.

Learn To Multi-Task

Multi-tasking is a skill that you should learn to do if you want to be able to finish a bunch of work almost at the same time. There will be some times when you will be faced with a workload that is both due at the same date or time and you will need to finish them both.

Learn to do multiple tasks at the same time, however make sure that the quality of your work is not sacrificed. It is useless to know how to multi-task if the the output is not up to par.

Work Fast

One key skill that will help you perform better and manage your time quicker is to learn how to process information and translate that information into action as quickly as possible. Don’t wait for your work to pile up as this will only stress you out more which will affect the quality of your work decisions.

Learn To Schedule

As an entrepreneur, you should learn how to manage your time with everybody, including your clients, partners, downline and whoever you may interact with.

Scheduling appointments and meetings can help you organize what you need to do better.

Also set a time and day for you to check your email and keep in mind that you don’t need to immediately respond to every email you receive but do take the time to read and respond to them.

To learn more about making time a priority I would encourage you to discover your own level of time management:

Via this quick Time Management Interactive Quiz you can gauge your strengths or any aspect of time management you would like to work on.

After taking this fun little quiz you can be directed to some specific tools that will help you work more efficiently.

In Knowledge and Success,

Kevin

P.S. There is power in knowledge

It is inevitable that you will encounter obstacles in you life plans. These obstacles or hindrances are a definite part in our lives. Though there are no means of telling when they appear exactly, you can still prepare yourself so that you can turn them into your life’s triumphs once you do encounter them.

Instead of simply succumbing to these obstacles, you can choose to fight like crazy. Fortunately for you, there are a few things that can help you succeed in that fight and overcome those obstacles.

Set Your Goals

One way that you can stay focused in your fight against those pesky obstacles you face is by keeping your eyes on the prize. Don’t lose track of your goals in life. It is by setting and clearly defining your goals that you can determine how much effort you need to use and where you need to direct your efforts in order to achieve that goal.

Each and every goal has different requirements. They should be clearly defined if you want to succeed against any that may impede your desired path.

Identify Your Obstacles

In order for you to truly succeed, you must clearly understand what type of obstacles they are in order to understand what form of action to take. For instance some obstacles are one time occurrences that simply impede your progress while others refuse to go away and will constantly remain a difficulty.

The key is to identify what type of obstacle that is presented so you can be aware of how to handle the situation.

Be Flexible

Since obstacles come in different forms and time, you need to learn to become more flexible when dealing with your life’s plans. Although there are some problems that will completely stopyou dead in your path, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you should abandon your goal. Rather, simply try to find another path that will lead you to your goal.

Avoiding the obstacle doesn’t signify you are accepting defeat. It only means you are accepting the fact that there might be other means of achieving your goal aside from the path you are currently on.

Focus On Your Strengths

If you truly want to be successful in fighting against your obstacles, simply discern between which battles to fight. Primarily, the best fights to choose are those that you know you can win. Make sure that when taking on obstacles, you have the necessary skills and abilities that are required for you to succeed.

Ultimately, it is important you keep your mind set on achieving your goals regardless the obstacle. If not, you will only find yourself always abandoning them whenever you encounter and hindrance.

Listen, there is no need to succumb to hurdles every time you encounter them in your life. Always bear in mind that accomplishing the goals you have set for yourself are made even sweeter after you succeed in fighting against all the impediments that tried to derail your plans.

Thank you so much for giving me a few minutes of your time today. What did you think?
Hey there,

Today’s knowledge is all about friendships and how vital of a role they play in our lives.

Living a life alone is never a good thing for any person to experience. Having friends to comfort you when you are down and having them to share your triumphs and your joys as well as your pains and failures is an important aspect in any person’s life and well-being.

This is why knowing how to get connected with people and foster bonds of friendship is so crucial.

Forming friendships with people is not that difficult to do especially if you are able to find people that you basically share common interests, ideals, principles, hobbies and passions.

Unfortuantely for you, it isn’t very often that people would just offer their friendship to you. This means you actually need to make the effort to connect with people in order to be able to form your bonds.

Here are a few suggestions that just might help you achieve that:

1. Find People Who Share Your Interests

One great way to get connected with people is by joining a group of organization that basically shares your interest such as a theater group or athletic club. By joining such a group, you will be able to find people who are easier for you to talk to and make friends with since you already have a common interest.

It is usually the awkwardness of trying to make friends and finding commonalities with others that makes it difficult to get connected with others. By eliminating these factors right off the bat, you should be able to make new friends in no time.

2. Don’t Be Afraid To Talk

Talking is one of your most powerful tools in getting people to know you better as well as a means of getting to know them. You could join all the clubs and organizations in the world but you would still find it difficult to connect with anyone if you don’t actually talk and interact with them. Remember, talking will help you share a little something about yourself that might help them understand you better and vice versa.

Just keep in mind, however, that talking to most people will not automatically merit you a friend. Most conversations you will have will result in a dead-end. Just a few of them could actually become a friend later on. Still, you should not be disheartened but should instead use this a s drive to interact with more people so you can fish out more friends.

Don’t be afraid to talk to people. Also, you don’t need to talk to people whom you share a common hobby or interest with only. You can actually talk to anyone. For example that person you sit beside on the bus or a cashier in your local supermarket. Who knows, one of those random persons could actually become a friend of yours.

3. Be Yourself

One common mistake people often make to win friends is that they don’t act like themselves. Keep in mind that you are trying to connect with people that you can build a good friendship with. If they can’t accept you for who you really are then that means that your friendship won’t last for very long….especially if you don’t come honest about who you are.

Remember that you don’t need to please everyone. If you both have differences in your opinions about religion, politics, lifestyle preferences etc… then make it known and learn to accept each other’s differences.

Chances are if you are able to do just that, you will be able to make friends with a ton of people…even those you don’t see eye-to-eye with on certain things.
